Gentle Mobility - Midlife Yoga

Melissa is a yoga instructor and yoga therapist who believes deeply in the body’s natural ability to heal when it is met with patience, compassion, and consistent care. Her work focuses on gentle, accessible movement designed to support real life especially the changing needs of the midlife body. By blending traditional yoga wisdom with modern, research-informed movement, she creates practices that are safe, calming, and genuinely supportive, even on days when the body feels stiff, tired, or uncertain.

Her vision is to create a welcoming space where people feel accepted exactly as they are. Melissa understands what it’s like to wake up with discomfort or to feel disconnected from the body, and she brings that understanding into every class she teaches. Through slow, mindful yoga and breath-centered practices, she helps people feel more at ease in their bodies, more confident in their movement, and gently supported as they build sustainable habits that help them feel better day by day.

Melissa lives at home with her husband and their two pups. You will see Melissa's Practice often with those two in the background feeling the most relaxed, snoozing.

Melissa is amazing!!  She really listens to your goals and takes the time to create the best workout for you. I love that she makes sure to correct your form and ask questions about how you're feeling in the process too! I never thought I would be a yoga person, but now I am addicted.
